2023 APCO Foundation Giving Day

Next Payments was proud to support APCO Foundation’s first annual Giving Day, donating a figure just shy of $4,000 to the cause.   

With 28 fuel and convenience stores located around regional Victoria and New South Wales, APCO works to provide local communities with convenient access to the essentials. As a local, independently owned business, giving back to the community has always been paramount to APCO which led them to create The APCO Foundation. Now in its 10th year, The APCO Foundation has donated over $1.5 million to individuals, groups, and communities in need.

With a Next Payments ATM in each APCO store, 20c from every ATM transaction fee throughout the month of August was donated to the Foundation. To spread the news of this initiative, all ATM screens featured the below advertisement, letting customers know that their transaction was contributing to The APCO Foundation.

Across the APCO network there were a total of 19,681 transactions in August, meaning there was $3,936.20 raised for the Foundation. The 2023 APCO Foundation Giving Day raised a total of $143,078.
